The Human Torch, Jim Hammond, is a Marvel Comics character first appearing in Marvel Comics #1 (October 1939) as a synthetic android created by Professor Phineas T. Horton.

This Human Torch, sometimes designated as Human Torch (Jim Hammond)/Human Torch, is distinct from the more well-known Johnny Storm. Hammond is an android capable of generating intense heat and flames, and possesses flight abilities. He has been associated with various teams and organizations throughout his history.

In the LEGO Marvel Avengers game, Hammond appears as a playable character and is associated with S.H.I.E.L.D. In this version, he is the classic Human Torch, re-imagined in a LEGO style. The LEGO version of Jim Hammond retains his fiery powers and classic appearance.
